Dasha Moroz

dasha - KopieDasha began to study music in three years. At the first time,she performed on stage when she was 12, performing E. Grieg’s Concert with the Belarusian State Symphony Orchestra.

In 2000, she graduated from the National College of Music at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, and in 2005 – the Belarusian State Academy of Music in the class of Associate Professor V.M. Kuzmenko and Professor I. Olovnikov. She graduated from the post-graduate course in the class of Associate Professor I.V.Galochkina. Along with teaching in BSAM, she cooperated with brilliant pianist and mentor Natalia Trull, Professor at the Tchaikovsky’s Moscow State Conservatory. She studied at the master classes of Vaja Chachava, Alexander Bonduryansky, Vladimir Krainev, Jerome Ducros, Jerome Perno, Boris Blokh and other outstanding musicians.

Dasha won 16 international competitions, including:

  • International Competition for Young Pianists, Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam (IV Prize Bydgoschch, Poland, 2002)
  • Brahms’International Competition of Chamber Ensembles (1st prize, Gdansk, Poland, 2003)
  • Zinetti’s International Competition of Chamber Music(3rd Prize, Verona, Italy, 2003)
  • International Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music (1st prize in „duet“, and 1st prize in „trio“, Krakow, Poland, 2004) and many others.

She repeatedly was a winner of the President of the Republic of Belarus’ special fund for talented youth.

In school age, Dasha was passionately keen on performance of chamber music that she continues to play in various ensembles in Belarus and abroad.

She collaborates with such musicians as Dora Schwartzberg, Vladimir Perlin, Leonid Kerbel, Alexander Trostyansky, Artem Shishkov, Evgeniya Epshetein, Jeroen der Herder, Andrey Baranov and many others.

Dasha performs at numerous festivals in Europe: Germany (Zollingen, Bonn), Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kostroma), Switzerland (Gstaad) and is a regular participant of the „Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus“ in Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia, Switzerland, Belgium, etc.

Her repertoire includes a huge number of large compositions of different styles and eras.

She pays great attention to the performance of contemporary music, collaborating with many composers of Belarus, Poland and Russia.

Currently Dasha actively performs music, and is a teacher of special piano and chamber ensemble at the National College of the Belarusian Academy of Music, a master course „Summer con spirito“ (Trogir, Croatia).
